I offer a unique photo experience that is rooted in connection and feels easy from start to finish. I’ll help with wardrobe, timing, and location so you can just show up and be present with the people you love.
Sessions are relaxed and child-led... expect snuggles, laughter, wandering little feet, and moments you didn’t realize you’d want to remember this much.

As a mom of four, I get how fast it all goes. My work as a West Michigan Photographer is full of presence, connection, and the kind of honest storytelling that helps you remember what it felt like to be right there in the moment.

How it works
- Book Your Session - Booking is simple and can be done directly online. Once we confirm we’re a good fit, we’ll choose a date and get your session officially on the calendar.
- Prepare - Before your session, I’ll help you plan the details so nothing feels overwhelming.
- Session Day - Come ready to love on your people. I’ll guide you throughout the session so that real connection can unfold naturally and look beautiful on camera.
- Receive Your Images - You’ll receive an online gallery of carefully edited images. From there, you can download your images and order professional prints and heirloom products directly through your gallery.
Alissa perfectly encapsulated the feeling of motherhood and just how beautiful and chaotic it actually is. I was very nervous going into the session but she made everything seamless and easy. My kiddos and I felt so comfortable and at home in her studio.
She paid close attention to all the small details and captured the special little (but looking back now, incredibly big) moments. She elicited so many natural smiles, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. As someone who has always struggled with self-image, it's a rare occurrence that I actually like seeing myself in any photos.
She was intentional about making sure we were content with every aspect of the session. I asked if we could incorporate a locket with a photo of my own mother, who is no longer here, and she came up with the most thoughtful and artistic way to include it on the fly. It meant the world to me.
