I know. I know. You’re exhausted.
It’s been who knows how long since you slept through the night. Your shirt has been tugged on a hundred times today, and if you hear “Mommmmm! Watch this!!” one more time, you might just sink into the floor. Some days, it feels like you’re running on autopilot… always moving, always giving, and still somehow feeling like you’re living in the background of these beautifully chaotic days.
I feel you.
But here’s the thing… your little ones see you.
They see you when you tie their shoes and wipe their faces. They notice the way you brush their hair back when they’re sleepy, the way your face lights up, and how your arms are always open… ready to catch them when they’re hurt or scared, to wrap them up after a long day, or to squeeze them tight when they come running. They see you in all the ordinary moments of every day… but to them, these moments are anything but ordinary. These moments are the magic of their childhood.
And years from now, they will love having proof of just how loved they were.
Don’t wait until you feel put together, have the perfect outfit, or lose weight. Your children already think you’re perfect. They see you as their safe place.
Here’s the hard truth… the baby on your hip will become the child you’re chasing around the house. The toddler who needs you for everything will soon be caught up in a world of friends and new adventures. It all changes in a blur, and one day, you’ll wish you could step back into these moments.
So mama, get in the picture. Be in the story. Let them see that you were there… loving them, holding them, being their whole world.
If you’re ready to document this season… just as you are… I’d love to help! Please reach out so we can chat!
